A small software studio in the Netherlands. Strong opinions about how software should be built.
Spine HQ is a software studio in the Netherlands, started in 2024. Most software doesn't fail because of bad developers. It fails because of decisions made too early, by people who never ask what happens next.
So we start with questions. What does your team do all day? What breaks right now? What still has to work in three years? Then we build. A custom application, a SaaS product or two systems that finally talk to each other.
We're deepest in .NET and Vue, and beyond that we pick whatever a project actually needs. But the stack is the easy part. What you're really hiring is how we think: clearly, without hype, and always about the years after we hand it over.

Fast and wrong costs more than right on time. We'd rather spend a day thinking through a decision than a week fixing what it broke. Technical debt is not a business model.

You always know what we're building, why, and what it costs. If something changes, you hear it from us first. Especially when the news is bad.
